This is an honest dialogue that I had with myself, coming to terms with the fact that I had wanted to be a white person. Those are thoughts that I’ve been having for many years, which admittance didn’t come easy. Taken reference from the banners for the denounced during Chinese Cultural Revolution, the scroll of confession was written with a brush made with my own bleached hair. By admitting, it finally allowed me to accept and respect my own identity more. Familiarity path the way for big changes.
